Annual Conference 2024

12th November 2024

British Nutrition Foundation Annual Conference

Health in Balance: Innovations in nutrition for combatting obesity, diet related ill health and health disparities.

Innovations have the potential to transform the food system and how people eat. But, with inequalities a major factor in poor health how can we ensure that the people who need it most are not left behind? The British Nutrition Foundation Annual Conference explored how innovations can help us to tackle key public health challenges.

The conference was chaired by Prof Giles Yeo from the University of Cambridge and included the Annual Lecture from Prof Sir Michael Marmot, winner of the 2023 BNF Prize.

The day also included the presentation of the British Nutrition Foundation Drummond Awards.
